We are women from Cambrian Park UMC who meet four times a year for spiritual fellowship, with programs that inform and projects that help improve the lives of women, children and youth, here and around the world.  United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.
At Cambrian Park, our group is led by women who use the UMW motto “Faith, Hope and Love in Action” to accomplish much.   We hope you can join us this year for a program or project.   We welcome all.

Our first program of the year is called Connect and Learn hosted by our Cambrian Park group.  The event is a District United Methodist Women program for those women who already are officers in their own unit of UMW.  We have workshops program planning, Social Action, and Spiritual growth.  Jan. 26, Sat. 2019

April 7th we are hosting a speaker from the YWCA after church .  This is in honor of Susie Wilson, a long time member of our church and a UMW supporter who loved the mission of the "Y".   The speaker  will bring us up to date on what is happening now and what ways our two organizations are connected in our wish to help women and children.  Food and program provided.  

May 4 is our Conference UMW social action program in Sacramento.

We have an active men's group, with men of ages ranging from 20's to 70's.  We do a variety of activities together, and also reflect on what it means to be a Christian man in today's world.   Our monthly meeting time is from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on the FIRST Saturday of every month.

We have a very talented choir and new members are always welcome!  We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 PM, and warm up for church every Sunday at 9:00 AM.   We hope to see you there!
