Here's a little about me.

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.  I have served United Methodist churches in New Haven, Connecticut;  San Francisco;  Redwood City;  Concord, California;  and San Jose.   I married my college sweetheart, Gina Giannini, and this year we celebrated our 27th anniversary.  We have a son, Nico, who graduated from Harvard this year and is working on a PhD in philosophy.

If I had to choose four “life-verses” they would be:  Proverbs 3:5-8;  Micah 6:8;  Romans 12:1-2;  and Hebrews 4:12.

Two important things I’ve learned over the years:

• The fear of the LORD really is the beginning of wisdom.
• The Bible is trustworthy.

Some things I like to do:  hang out with Gina; ride my bicycle; hike in Yosemite; camp in the redwoods; read; lead small groups; daydream; go on mission trips.
